Join our client’s team as an enthusiastic Embedded Software Engineer to deliver cutting-edge computing solutions in the undersea domain. You will play a crucial role in shaping the company's next generation of defence-oriented architectures, working with state-of-the-art navigation and acoustic communication technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop reliable embedded software in C and C++ using Linux.
• Enhance the development and operational capabilities of the team through DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with industrial leaders in navigation, acoustic communications, and robotics.
• Engage in proactive problem-solving and skill development.
• Maintain excellent communication channels across the company and with development partners.
• Produce analytical and support documentation for all designs.
• Deploy and test new capabilities with a hands-on approach.

Skill Requirements. Essential:

• Proficiency in C/C++ in an embedded environment.
• Experience with DevOps.
• Familiarity with source control tools such as git or Surround.
• Understanding of writing code for embedded platforms, including optimisation for power.
• Embedded Linux experience.

Desirable:

• Experience with real-time operating systems or bare metal development.
• Knowledge of other programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB).

Qualifications:

• An undergraduate degree (Distinction or above) in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
