Role Overview: As the Business Development Manager, the successful candidate will drive growth and development in the Australian market and assigned territories. Key responsibilities include increasing market awareness, developing new business potential, and nurturing customer relationships. Collaboration with regional headquarters team members will be essential in advancing business objectives.

Key Role & Responsibilities:

  • Identify new prospects in relevant industries to expand business in assigned territories.
  • Cultivate existing customer relationships and expand our client's solution portfolio.
  • Develop comprehensive sales plans, encompassing prospecting, cold calling, negotiation, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Technical Consultants to tailor proposals to specific customer requirements.
  • Promote global and regional initiatives to introduce new solutions into the market.
  • Participate in marketing events, actively upselling and showcasing solutions to new and existing customers.
  • Collaborate with business partners to grow the market and enhance brand presence.
  • Exhibit strong business ethics, innovation, independence, and teamwork.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Preferred degree in Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the industrial automation industry.
  • Experience in selling engineering-related design software business is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of confidently communicating with C-Level and Management teams.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for business purposes.
